Pelican First-Gen Scholarship

Two programs, one sponsor

The two Pelican scholarships, side by side

Pelican Family Office funds two scholarships. They share a sponsor and a calendar. Everything else is separate: websites, applications, rules and recipients.

The Pelican Family Office Scholarship is open to any undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university. The Pelican First-Generation Scholarship, this program, is reserved for first-generation students, meaning neither parent or guardian completed a four-year (bachelor's) degree. Each gives $2,500 to one student every year.

Can I apply to both?

Yes. If you are a first-generation student, you may submit one application to each program. The two are decided separately, so applying to one has no effect on the other. Because the forms are separate, you need to complete both; one form does not enter you in both programs.

Which one first?

Either. Both close on January 15, 2027, so submit whichever you are looking at now, then the other. Each has its own short form.
